Maximum Size: 35cm
Identification: Silvery gray with several irregular dark bars on head and body. Young have heavily blotched pattern with eye bar, and bar across pectoral fins.
Favourite: Solitary or form small groups.
Hide-out: Sand or rubble bottoms of coastal reefs in 15-80m.
Location: East Indo-Asian Pacific - Andaman Sea to Malaysian Peninsula, Indonesia, north to S.W. Japan.

Six-Banded Angelfish

Scientific Name: Pomacanthus sexstriatus
Family: Angelfish - Pomacanthidae
Maximum Size: 46cm
Identification: Tan with blue scale centers and 6 dark bars; head dark blue with white bar behind eye, blue spotting dorsal, anal and tail fins.
Favourite: Solitary or in pairs.
Hide-out: Coastal, lagoon and outer reefs in 3-60m.
Location: Asian Pacific - Indonesia, Philippines and New Guinea to New Caledonia. S.W. Japan to N.W. & E. Australia.

Redfin Bream

Scientific Name: Monotaxis heterodon
Family: Emperors - Lethrinidae
Maximum Size: 30cm
Identification: Gray or brown on back with 3 narrow white bars, black spot in axil of pectoral fin and reddish hue on fins.
Favourite: Solitary or form groups.
Hide-out: Coastal reefs, lagoons and outer slopes to 100m.
Location: Indo-West Pacific - Seychelles to Marshall Islands and New Caledonia.
