Location: Known only from Komodo I., Indonesia.

Favourite: Usually solitary.
Hide-out: Lagoon and seaward reefs in 4-60m.
Location: Pacific - Indonesia, Philippines, Micronesia to French Polynesia. S.W. Japan to Great Barrier Reef and New Caledonia.

Hide-out: Shelter in dead staghorn corals to 5m.
Location: Indo-Pacific - Red Sea and E. Africa to Line Is. and French Polynesia. S.W. Japan to Australia, New Caledonia and Tonga.
